You will be sent home with healing cleanser and healing ointment. Please cleanse and apply every two hours on a day of your treatment then morning and evening next ten days.
Please use nothing on the eyebrow area for 10 days. No water, creams, makeup, mascara, soap, etc of any kind should be used on the eyebrows. This includes heavy sweating as well so refrain from intense physical activity during your healing time. On day 11 you may resume your regular routine. You can wet your eyes, however if all your scabs have not fallen off yet, DO NOT scrub or pick at the scabs. Let them fall off naturally. This is vital to for the retention of the pigment and skin healing. Do NOT pick at the scabs, scratch your brows, peel your scabs off, or scrub the area. This can result in scarring and will affect your overall retention of the pigment. After 10 days you may resume your normal life and beauty routines.
Please be aware that the healed result of the procedure is dependent on the following: medication and health conditions, skin conditions (ie oily and pored skin, sensitive dry and flaky skin, sun damaged skin, loose skin, natural skin undertones), alcohol intake and smoking, general stress, immune system, poor diet, and how well you follow the aftercare instructions.
Your tattoo should heal within two weeks, depending on the person. You should understand that YOUR skin may heal quicker or slower. Some tattoos require a lot more work to be done in the skin. The more damage your skin receives, the longer it may need to heal. Be open to the possibility of your skin needing a 3rd touch up dependent on these factors.
MAKE SURE CLIENTS DO NOT OVER APPLY AFTERCARE OINTMENT AS IT CAN DO MORE HARM THAN GOOD WHEN IT COMES TO HEALING. A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY. THE BROWS NEED TO BE ABLE TO BREATHE.
It is normal for the treated areas to appear darker, larger, and more saturated up to seven days following your session. Do not pick at or aggressively rub your permanent makeup. Doing so can result in less than desirable results such as loss of pigment, scar tissue, or infection. Avoid tanning of any kind, swimming, saunas, sweating, or exfoliating for seven days after your service.
This is essentially considered an open wound for the first week. Please follow and take seriously the aftercare instructions to ensure proper healing and lessen the risk of infection. Please do not use anything on your permanent makeup that was not provided or approved by your technician during the healing process.
